Kimberly Brown

Kimberly Hohlbaugh Brown, age 63, of Troy, Alabama, passed away on Tuesday, February 15, 2022.  The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 17, 2022, at Green Hills Funeral Home from 5:00 – 7:00pm. A chapel service will be on Friday, February 18, 2022, at noon at Green Hills with Rev. Matthew Simmons officiating. Wesley Hohlbaugh, Thomas Hicks, Phillip Henderson, Justin Richburg, Craig Bellew, and Andrew Brooks will serve as pallbearers.  Honorary Pallbearers will be the employees of AirTek where Kimberly was a dedicated employee for over 20 years.

Kimberly was a devoted Christian lady who loved her children and grandchildren.  She was all about her family and enjoyed spending time with them.  Books lined the walls and she even named her two cats, Mr. Darcy & Ms. Elizabeth, after the main characters in one of the classics.  On the weekend, you could find her doing a craft with her grandchildren or cheering for Alabama football!!  She was loved by many and will be missed by all her knew her.

Loving survivors include her sons, Matthew Brown (Jennifer) and Micah Brown (Brittney); her grandchildren, Mary Clark Brown, Maggie James Brown, Coggins Matthew Brown, Hinson Charles Brown, and Millie Virginia Brown; her siblings, James W. Hohlbaugh (Regenia), Julie Richburg (Jacky); as well as several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, James & Joann Hohlbaugh; and her brother, Joe Hohlbaugh.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Henderson Baptist Church, Glenwood, Alabama.
