Menefee, Jr.; and his father-in-law, Cleavy Thomas Johnson, Sr. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Mary Sue Johnson Menefee; his sons, James J. Billy was a hardworking, family- oriented, Christian man. His servant heart and his devotion to his family, friends and community will never be forgotten. He and Mary Sue spent tireless hours of their lives together serving and loving all of the families of South Montgomery County Academy which brought them both great joy. Billy was a man of many talents and abilities who enjoyed working with his hands. He spent much of his free time coaching his sons in various sports, watching his nieces and nephews play their favorite sports, and often could be found maintaining the grounds at SMCA and the Pine Level Recreational Center pool. He genuinely loved helping others and following Mary Sue wherever she decided they needed to go. He was committed to her and the boys, as well as all of the other people God brought into his life to love.

The family would like to thank The Montgomery Cancer Center, Internal Medicine Associates, and Lori, his favorite nurse from Aspire. Also a special thank you to his co-workers from Tractor Supply and the host of family and friends who have brought food, called and prayed for our family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Montgomery Cancer Center or Sampey Memorial Baptist Church.
