Walter Chancey

Walter William "Bill" Chancey, age 77 of Troy died Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at his home after a lengthy illness. He was born February 14, 1941 in Florida to the late James W. and Dorothy Chancey. Bill served in the United States Merchant Marine until his retirement.

A graveside service in the Veteran's Garden of Green Hills Memorial Park Cemetery will be held Sunday, October 21, 2018 at 3:00 PM with Pastor Alvie Walker officiating. Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Green Hills Funeral Home.

Bills survivors include; step-son, Raymond  and Pamela Crosby of Troy, step-grandchildren, Christian Crosby and Lauren Crosby, cousins, Jean Pinero, Lois Vega and Gladys (Michael) Datch.

Serving as pallbearers will be Justin Davidson, Jeremy Vinson, Wesley Enfinger, Cal Stewart, Christian Crosby and Zack Williams.

The staff of Green Hills is honored to serve the Chancey family.
