Our beloved brother, Stacey "Duck" Mency, was born on March 20, 1970, to Ms. Ethel Mary Mency in Brundidge, Alabama, and passed from this life on Sunday, April 20, 2025. A Memorial service will be at 1:00pm on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at Green Hills Funeral Home with Rev. Lane officiating.
Stacey received his education from the Pike County school system and worked for the Brundidge Housing Authority for many years. Stacey was preceded in death by his sister, Maria; brothers, Donald, Van and Don Juan Mency; niece, Tyeshia “Shanky” and stepdaughter, Mckenzie Fuller. Stacey leaves to cherish his loving memories his wife, Janet Mency; children, DeNeshia Mency-Searight (Demarcus), Atia Wyckoff of Brundidge, Rod Wyckoff of New York, Tayonia McBride of Savannah, Georgia, Willie Pott “CP” of Troy, Monroe Williams ”Jr”. He also leaves behind his mother, Ms. Ethel Mary Mency of Brundidge; 2 brothers, Charles Baxter, Jr. (Cynthia), Christopher Mency, both of Atlanta, Georgia; 4 sisters including his twin, Tracey Mency (Sam) of Atlanta, Georgia, Sandra Mency (Jerome), Denise Mency and Sabrina Robinson, all of Brundidge; an uncle, Romie Mency Jr. of Richmond Hill, Georgia; aunts, Pearl Wilson of Dumfries, Virginia, Annie Mency of Brundidge; 9 grandchildren, Nehemiah, Lizze, Kylie, Da’Marius, Samiah, Khamod, Emory, KJ and Jordan, all of Alabama; a devoted friend, Cynthia Fuller of Brundidge; special friends, Jada Brown of Troy, Linda Monroe and Charles Mike, both of Brundidge; Aunt Carolyn Andrews of Atlanta, Georgia, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
