Sondra Ann Martin

Sondra Ann Martin Fortune, loving mother and grandmother, passed away on Thursday, April 24, 2025 after an extended illness. No services are planned at this time.

Anyone who knew Sondra knew she loved her family first. Her sons were important in her life, and she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren too. Sondra loved flowers and one could find her in the garden every spring. She traveled all over the country with her late husband, Jim Martin, as team truck drivers for Wiley Sanders Trucking. The mountains and hills out west were some of her favorite areas to travel. Sondra was treasured by her family and will be missed by all who knew her.

Loving survivors include her sons, Tony Watling, John Watling, George Martin; granddaughters, Lisa Keith, Melissa Jacobs, Justina Barhonovich (Aaron); great grandchildren, Ryan Shields, Teia Jacobs, Kylie Jacobs, Brad Jacobs, Paislee Barhonovich, and Amelia Barhonovich. She was preceded in death by infants, Aleta Clovia and Stephen Maxwell; her parents and her siblings.
