Sarah Widdowson

Sarah Voncille Widdowson, age 91 of Jasper, GA, formerly of Troy, died Monday, December 15, 2014 at her residence.  A graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 18, 2014 at 12:00 p.m. at Green Hills Memorial Cemetery with Pastor Bobby Templin officiating and Green Hills Funeral Home directing.  Visitation will be two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. D.C. Widdowson, and son, Lawrence Earl Widdowson.  She is survived by her daughter, Sara Lee de Fleron of Jasper, Ga; daughter, Linda Hart (Gene) of Canton, GA; sons, John Luther Widdowson (Patty) of Cumming, Ga, David Wilson;  brothers, Tommy Lee, John Lee, Roger Lee;  sisters, Jean Harvell, Elizabeth Palmer, Katie Schoid, Violet Stokes, Carol Lewellen and Judy Osborn; seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.  Family and friends can sign the guest book and order flowers at greenhillsfuneralhome.net.  The staff of Green Hills Funeral Home is honored to serve the Widdowson family.
