Samuel James Brown, Jr., age 44, of Troy died Wednesday November 25, 2015 at his home. James was born to Samuel James Brown Sr and Sue Price Brown March 9, 1971 in Troy . He attended the Vivian B. Adams school in Ozark for 13 years and then attended the McGinnis School in Montgomery for 9 years. James attended the Hephzibah Baptist Church. He loved people and loved the Lord. James also loved watching and cheering for the Auburn Tigers.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 29, 2015 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Green Hills Funeral Home with Reverend Rick Hayes Reverend WO Sanders officiating. Burial will follow in the Green Hills Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Green Hills Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Saturday, November 28, 2015 from 5:00PM until 7:00 PM at Green Hills Funeral Home.

James is survived by his parents, Sam and Sue Brown, his sister, Wendy Brown, his nephews, Joshua and Kaleb Brown, Fraternal Grandmother, Virginia Brown, Special Friend of the family, Shirley Hill, Numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins and other family members. He was preceded in death by his Fraternal Grandfather, Buster Brown, Maternal Grandparents, Hoytte and Eloise Price, an Uncle Billy Brown and his girlfriend of 23 years, Peggy Darlene Hill.

Serving as pallbearers will be Matt Brown, Micah Brown, Louis Brown, Kenny Brown, Josh Brown and Christopher Bailey. Honorary Pallbearers will be Alacare Hospice, the residents of Milton Road and his caregiver, Linda Ellis.

In Lieu of Flowers memorials may be made to the Hephzibah Baptist Church.

The staff of Green Hills is honored to serve the James Brown family.
