Rufus Jay Woods, age 81 of Goshen, AL went to be with the Lord on Friday September 26, 2014. He is survived by his wife Thelma A. Woods, son/grandson Robert Jourdan Reeves, daughter Beverly Shirley & Marsha Woods, sister Mary F. Woods, brother Charles H. Woods, best buddies Nathan & Kimble Adamson, 5 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 4 step-children. He was preceded in death by his parents Rufus Woods and Maggie A Robinson, daughter Bonnie Woods, sister Maggie E. Eubanks, and brothers Grover T. Woods, Otis F. Woods, Bennie L. Woods, and Walter A. Woods. Jay, also known around Pike County to be the “Vegetable Man” was a loving, kind, generous and wonderful man who loved spending his time in his gardens and hunting. Jay moved from West Palm Beach, FL 17 yrs. ago to make his home in Goshen, AL. He was well known and will be dearly missed by everyone. Celebrations of
