Robert Edward Griswold, 54, of Troy, Alabama, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, November 29, 2021. Robert was born and raised in Pike County and a graduate of Pike County High School. Upon graduation, he went on to earn his associates degree from Wallace College specializing in electrical engineering. Robert had a great appreciation for American classics, with impressive collections of model cars, Roadrunner and Wile E. Coyote antics, and Dukes of Hazzard memorabilia. He kept his channel rotating with a variety of 80s tunes and could often be captured singing along with his favorites. Robert also exercised a keen sense for mechanics, practicing his skills on his prized 1977 T-bird and old Dodge pickup truck.
Loving survivors include his children, Robert Andrew Griswold, Thomas Mason Griswold, Brittany Allison Griswold; his mother, Linda Griswold; his sister, Angie Hope Hatfield (Randy); as well as several nieces and nephews who are left to cherish his memory, Kyra Le’Anna Hatfield, Cayden Daryl Hatfield, and Devin Brian Griswold. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Erwin Griswold and his brother, Chandler Brian Griswold.
