Robert Cooper

Robert Lee Cooper, age 80 of Huntsville died Monday, February 5, 2018 in Huntsville. Robert was born to the late Mack Cooper and Lela Upshaw Cooper April 19, 1937 in Pike County Alabama. He was also preceded in death by 3 sisters and 5 brothers.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 11, 2018 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Green Hills Funeral Home with Reverend Thomas Shipman officiating. Burial will follow in the Green Hills Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday, February 10, 2018 from 4:00 until 6:00 PM at Green Hills Funeral Home.

Survivors include; his wife of 60 years, Helen Cooper of Huntsville, his children, Mary (Gary) Watts of Huntsville, Louise (LA) Shipman of Montgomery, Sarah (Edward) White of Huntsville, Jimmy Cooper of Montgomery, William (Sharon) Cooper of Atlanta and  Sonya Cooper of Atlanta, his 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren, his sisters, Rosa Lee Smith, Hattie Griffin and Leola Siler and a host of nieces , nephews and friends.

Serving as pallbearers will be Robert's grandsons and sons-in-law.

The staff of Green Hills is honored to serve the Cooper family.
