Ricky Ricardo Stewart

Ricky Ricardo Stewart, 66, passed away on October 9, 2026. Born on February 14, 1960, Ricky was raised in Florence, Alabama. He was a man who was always helping others, and that caring spirit shaped the way he lived and the way he was remembered by those around him. He loved to cook and found joy in sharing that gift with others. He also played the piano and guitar, and music held an important place in his life. Ricky wrote music, an accomplishment that reflected both his creativity and his love for expression. He was also a member of God's Way Baptist Church.

Ricky will be remembered with love by his wife, Juanita Dunn, his wife of 32 years. He is also survived by his children, Ria and Naynay of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and Kendall Stewart of Brundidge and Troy Dunn of Troy. He leaves behind his sisters-in-law, Robbie Smith and Virginia Holland and her husband, Timothy. He is also lovingly remembered by his nieces, Amy and Keisha, and by his nephew, Cass Smith. He is further survived by his siblings, Amanda, Jackie, and Rod, along with other family and friends who will cherish his memory.

A memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at Green Hills Funeral Home.

Ricky’s life was marked by kindness, music, faith, and a willingness to help others. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved him. The staff of Green Hills Funeral Home is honored to serve the Stewart family.
