Richard Stallings

Richard Lamar Stallings, lifelong resident of Pike County, passed away on Saturday, June 11, 2022, at the age of 67.  Funeral services will be on at 11:00am on Monday, June 20, 2022, at Green Hills Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior.  Burial will follow in Green Hills Cemetery.

Known around town as Ricky, he loved talking to people and never met a stranger.  Ricky loved his family and attending sporting events with his family. He was an avid football fan, and you could find him watching Auburn every Saturday in the fall, yelling War Eagle!  A handyman, Ricky could fix almost anything and worked on many homes or construction projects in the Troy area.  Ricky was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He will be missed by all who loved him.

Loving survivors include his son, Richard Nicholas Stallings (Diana); granddaughter, Olivia Stallings; sister, Linda Bloodworth (Wayne) as well as several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his son, Benjamin Lamar Stallings; parents, Lacey & Elizabeth Stallings; brother, William L. “Billy” Stallings.
