Mary Lou Anderson

Mary Lou Anderson born July 12, 1934, to Archie & Margaret Barron went to Heaven on Tuesday, May 20, 2025. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Homer A. Anderson; her son, Terry W. Anderson; two sisters and five brothers. Her survivors include her daughter, Connie A. Webb (Duane) of Troy; eleven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and her beloved siblings, Sue B. Bell of Lexington, SC, Marvin Barron (Ann) of Duncanville, AL, Ann B. Westberry (Malcolm) of Newnan, GA, Alice B. Younce of Mobile, AL, and Bob Barron (Patsy) of Macon, GA.

A celebration of life will be at 11:00am on Thursday, May 22, 2025, at First Baptist Church in Troy with Dr. Ross Lankford officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:00am in the Church Parlor. Honorary pallbearers will be the Colley Sunday School Class. Serving as pallbearers will be Tyler Webb, Bryant Webb, Bob Barron, William Younce, Alan Peacock, and Gilbert Sellers.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist Church, 200 W. College St., Troy 36081. The staff of Green Hills Funeral Home is honored to serve the Anderson family.
