Martha Wambles

Martha Ann Wambles, age 65, of Banks, died Monday, July 8, 2013 at her residence.  Funeral services will be Thursday, July 11, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Full Gospel Assembly of God Church with Rev. Jimmy Helms and Rev. Lavon Singleton officiating.  Graveside service will follow in the Ramah Baptist Church Cemetery with Neal Singleton officiating and Green Hills Funeral Home directing.  Visitation will be Wednesday, July 10, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Green Hills Funeral Home.  She will lie in state at the church for one hour prior to the service.
She was preceded in death by her parents:  Quitman and Pearl Dease, husband, Johnny Wambles and step  son, Paul Wambles.  She is survived by her daughter, Marie Jordan (Michael) of Banks, AL; son, Lavon Singleton (Mylia) of Banks, AL; stepson, Todd Wambles of Troy, AL; grandchildren, Craig and Caleb Wentland of Banks, AL, Ryan and Andrew Singleton of Banks, AL, Brandon and Ryan Jordan of Troy, AL, Melanie Jordan of Banks, AL, Brandy Arbough of Troy, AL, Morgan Mancil of Enterprise, Al; great grandchildren, Kiley and Kaley Jordan, Ethan Waters and Kayden Arbough; sisters, Carolyn Green of Troy, AL; Ruby Calhoun (Sherrill) of Banks, AL; Linda Harper (William) of Dothan, AL; brother and sisters-in-law, Molly Sanders (Perry) of Goshen, AL, Geraldine Warrick of Troy, AL, Mae Lassiter of Troy, AL, Leroy Wambles (Ann) of Troy, AL; aunts, Olene Vinson of Troy, AL, Bessie Freeman (John Owen) of TX.  A Special thanks to life long friend Shirley Oakes and to Crystal Jewell for being there for Mrs. Wambles.
