Martha was a creative person thinking outside the lines as she ministered to preschoolers and children. She was a compassionate guidance counselor helping students with life choices. At the Forest Park Ministry Center, in addition to her administrative responsibilities, she enjoyed encouraging volunteers and networking with them to minister to those in need. Martha possessed the gift of evangelism. She was passionate about leading individuals to accept Jesus Christ as Savior, even compiling a booklet for children to better understand salvation. She received tremendous joy at the Forest Park Ministry Center when she had the privilege of leading someone to Christ.

Martha enjoyed reading, cooking, and talking with friends and colleagues. She was opiniated and always wanted to be in charge. She loved her family, particularly sharing her life with her husband and soulmate of 46 years.

The family is requesting that in lieu of flowers, those contributions be made to the Forest Park Ministry Center of the Montgomery Baptist Association, or to Pine Level Baptist Church, Pine Level, Alabama.
