Lisa Corley Johnson, born in 1968, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 27, 2026, surrounded by her loved ones. Her life, marked by devotion to her family, steadfast dedication in her professional career, and a gentle, joyful spirit, leaves a legacy cherished by all who knew her.
Lisa was the beloved wife of David Johnson, and a devoted mother to Matthew Ellis (Drue), Raegan Johnson, and Coby Johnson. Her unwavering support and kindness enriched the lives of her family, creating memories that will be held close in the hearts of those she leaves behind. Lisa was the cherished daughter of Lavenia Corley and the late David Corley, and the dear sister of Laura Ivey (Danny). She is also mourned by those whose lives she touched deeply, guided always by the strength and example of her late grandparents, General and Bessie Goodson and Robert and Pinkie Ruth Corley.
A proud graduate of Pike County High School, Lisa believed in the importance of community. Her career spanned over 25 years as a dedicated data analyst at Lockheed Martin—a testament to her commitment, expertise, and reliability. Colleagues remember her not only for her technical skills but for her generous spirit and willingness to help others succeed.
Beyond her professional achievements, Lisa found immense joy in life’s simple pleasures. She was an enthusiastic supporter of the Troy Trojans, rarely missing a chance to cheer them on. The beach was her haven, a place she cherished for its peace and beauty. Lisa delighted in Braves baseball, relished 80s movies, was fascinated by true crime and reality television, and found comfort in the timeless music of Elvis. Her laughter, warmth, and ability to embrace both quiet moments and spirited fun made her a true friend to many.
Family, friends, and all whose lives she touched are invited to honor Lisa’s memory at a visitation on Thursday, July 2, 2026, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at Green Hills Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 AM at the same location.
