Mr. Leonard Lincoln Gorman Jr. of LaGrange, Georgia, passed away on March 8, 2024. He was born in Troy, Alabama, on April 6, 1947, to the late Leonard Lincoln Gorman, Sr. and Emmogene Gorman. Leonard served our country in the Vietnam War and later retired from the Department of Labor. Leonard was a simple man that lived a simple life with a love of orchids and hummingbirds.

Mr. Gorman was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard Lincoln Gorman, Sr and Emmogene Coppage Gorman; siblings, Barbara Gorman, Tommy Gorman, and Mark Gorman.

Mr. Gorman is survived by his sons, Bartley Gorman and his wife Paula Gorman and their three children, Elijah Patrick, Elissa Brown, and Evan Gorman; his son, Ryan Gorman and his child, Blake Gorman; his sister, Kathy McCain, and many nieces and nephews, extended family, and friends.

The family will receive friends at Higgins Funeral Home at Hunter-Allen-Myhand on Monday, March 11, 2024, from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm. with a funeral following the visitation. The committal service will be held at Green Hills Memorial Cemetery in Troy, Alabama, on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at 2:00 pm central time.
