Lacie Edwards

Lacie Diane Edwards, age 6, of Troy died Monday, February 22, 2016, as a result of a automobile accident in Thomasville, Georgia. Her father, Bobby Joe Edwards also died in the wreck. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to pay for the funeral expenses at Green Hills Funeral Home in Troy. Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 6, 2016, at 3:00 PM from the Hephzibah Baptist Church with Rev. Rick Hayes officiating. Burial will follow in the Green Hills Memorial Cemetery. Visitation for Lacie will be held at the church from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM.

Survivors include her mother, Shirley Diane Hunt; sister, Robyn Nicole Edwards; grandmother, Betty Jo Hunt; grandfather, Robert Neal Edwards; great-grandmother, Eva Nell Grady; aunts and uncles, Carolyn (Robert) Powell, Linda Floyd, Sharon (Wilburn) Kirkland, Wayne (Marie) Floyd, Chris (Kaitlin) Edwards, and Johnny Ray Whitehead; special cousins, Bobby (Melanie) Tillery, LeAnne Tillery, ShyAnne Tillery, Hailey Green, Shelby Green, Leah Grace Edwards, Regina Kirkland, Tiffany Edwards, and Harliegh Willis; numerous great-uncles, aunts and cousins. Lacie was preceded in death by her father, Bobby Joe Edwards,; grandmother, Bonnie Faye Whitehead; and grandfather, WD Hunt.

Serving as pallbearers will be Drew Powell, Wiley Dees, Bobby Tillery, and Buddy Tillery. Honorary pallbearers will be Mark Powell, Jeremy Powell, Ryan Powell, Cecil Tillery, Morgan Allen, Tommy Parker and the employees of Wilma's Beauty Shop.
