Kelsey Starling

Kelsey Nicole Starling, age 26 formerly of Troy died July 4, 2019 in Winston County, Alabama. Kelsey was a beautiful, smart young woman with a bright spirit and an even brighter smile. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Alabama, and proceeded to get her master's degree from the University of Montevallo. With the strong love and passion she displayed to those around her, Kelsey will never be forgotten by her friends and family. Forever she will live on in their hearts.

A memorial service for Kelsey Starling will be held Saturday, August 10, 2019 at 2:00 PM  from the First Baptist Church in Troy with Dr. Luke Lane officiating. Visitation will be held at the church from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM, Saturday, August 10, 2019.

Her survivors include; father, Alton Starling (Martha Lynn Drinkard) of  Troy, sister, Megan Starling of Troy, Grandparents, Alice and Alton Starling, Jean Barr Wilkes, aunts and uncles, Jennifer and Jackie Dansby, Jeff Barr , Olivia and Jeff Starling, Scott and Jennifer Starling, cousins, Daniel and Kate Ross, Bryan and Kelsey Ross, Emily Ross, Ashley Ross and Shane Barr, Shad and Eva Barr, Justin and Jennifer Barr, Summer Barr, Kirby Starling, Timothy Starling and Kenzie Starling. Kelsey was preceded in death by her mother, Joretta Barr Starling, and uncle, Jerry Barr and her grandfather, James Barr.

Honorary pallbearers will be Daniel Ross, Bryan Ross, Kirby Starling, Timothy Starling, Justin Barr, Shane Barr , Shad Barr, Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority of the University of Alabama, Haley Edwards, Amy Hixon and Peyton Rose.
