Judy Catrett

Our sweet Judy Virginia Morgan Catrett, age 70, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by family on June 8, 2019. She leaves behind a legacy of her faith in Christ, love for family, generosity, peace, grace, and strength. Her greatest gift in life was being the mother of 8 children whom she loved unconditionally.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 10, 2019 from 5-7 PM at the Green Hills Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at 10 AM at the chapel of Green Hills Funeral Home with Justin Davis and Reverend J.C. Turner officiating. A graveside service will be held after the chapel service at the Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery.

Judy's survivors include: her son, Tim (Regina) Catrett; her daughter, Suzanne Barton; her son, Chris (Donie) Catrett; her son, Shannon (Tammy) Catrett; her daughter, Terri Maurer; her daughter, Morgan (Stephen) Blagovich; her son Corey Catrett; and her daughter, Shelby (Zack) Davis. Her grandchildren, Rayanne Catrett, Jade Catrett, Sarah Rawls, McKenna Barton, Caitlyn Catrett, Trent Harden, Drew Harden, Ashley Williams, Brooke Todd, Cameron Maurer, Claire Maurer, Reid Bellanca and Adaleigh Blagovich. Her sister, Carolyn (Charles) Turner; her brother, Wayne Morgan; her brother, Terry (Ginger) Morgan; and her step-brother, Curtis Garner. A special friend, John Dick Barr III. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Eula Belle Morgan; her step-mother, Lorine Morgan; her brother, Thomas Earl Morgan; and her step-brothers, James and Edward Garner.

Serving as pallbearers will be Greg Turner, Jonathan Turner, Cameron Maurer, Ronnie Norris, Tim Curran, and Dewayne Hussey.  Honorary pallbearers will be the Pike County High School Class of 1967. Donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
