It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jasmine Lynn Garcia, a radiant soul whose beautiful smile and loving nature touched everyone fortunate enough to know her. Jasmine’s presence was a beacon of light in the lives of her family and friends until she left us on April 1, 2026.
Jasmine’s life, though brief, was filled with moments that showcased her warm spirit and gentle kindness. She was known for her captivating smile that could brighten any room, reflecting the love she carried within her heart. As a devoted and loving sister, she shared an unbreakable bond with her siblings, Aaliyah Garcia and Adrian Garcia Jr., creating cherished memories that will forever live in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
She had a particular fondness for the color purple, a detail warmly remembered by those who witnessed her delight in the simple joys of life. Jasmine’s personality shone brightest when she was outdoors, enjoying the calming embrace of nature and the peacefulness found on quiet walks. These moments spoke to her thoughtful and reflective nature—a young woman who found comfort and joy in the world around her.
Jasmine was a beloved daughter to her mother, Nicole Cowarts (Shannon), and her father, Adrian Garcia (Erica). Her family was a source of unfaltering support and love, surrounding her with care throughout her life. She was a proud aunt to her nephew, Waylon Jordan, bringing light and laughter into his young life. Jasmine was also deeply cherished by her grandparents, Cathy & Willie Soto and Cathy Martin, who hold her memory dear.
The family mourns the loss of Jasmine’s grandmother, Petra Crisanto, and her great-great-grandmother, Veron Burd, both of whom preceded her in passing. Their legacies live on within the tapestry of the Garcia family history, connecting generations through love and remembrance.
Jasmine’s funeral service will be held on April 7, 2026, at 12:00pm at Green Hills Funeral Home in Troy, Alabama. Following this touching farewell, her interment will take place at the Gates of Heaven Cemetery in Dothan, Alabama, at 3:00pm. These times will provide her family, friends, and all who loved her a solemn moment to honor her memory and celebrate a life that, though short, impacted so many profoundly.
In remembering Jasmine Lynn Garcia, let us hold close the warmth of her smile, the courage of her spirit, and the love she so freely gave. Though her journey was cut far too soon, the legacy of her kindness and the beauty of her soul remain forever imprinted in our hearts. May she find eternal peace, embraced by the love that surrounded her every day.
