Grace Livings

Grace Lankford Livings, age 82, died Sunday, April 10, 2011 in Pace, FL.  Funeral services for Mrs. Livings will be Friday, April 15, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. at Green Hills Funeral Home with Dr. Ellis Bush officiating.  Burial will follow in the Green Hills Memorial Cemetery with Green Hills Funeral Home directing.
Visitation will be Thursday, April 14, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the chapel of Lewis Funeral Home in Pace, FL.
She was born on July 7, 1928 in Chamber County, AL to the late Milford and Effie Lankford of Valley, AL.  Grace attended Riverview High School in Riverview, AL.  She moved  to Pensacola in 1954 and went to work for Chemstrand Corp. (Monsanto) retiring after 30 years and retiring with perfect attendance.  Grace was a kind hearted and caring animal lover.  She took in all stray animals and gave them a good home.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Jack, Mack and Herman Lankford; four sisters, Bardie Willis, Cleo Roughton, Gladys Crews and Alice Edwards.  Grace is survived by her husband, Jack Livings; one brother, Jim (Pat) Lankford; two sisters-in-law, Reba Lankford and Florence Lankford; and many nieces and nephews.
