Gerald Whitehead

Pete Whitehead, age 65 of Abbeville, died Thursday, June 28, 2012 at his residence.  Funeral services  will be held on Saturday, June 30, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Green Hills Funeral Home with Rev. Mickey Skinner officiating.  Entombment will follow at the Green Hills Mausoleum with Green Hills Funeral Home directing.  Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
Mr. Whitehead was a member of Lakeside Christian Fellowship Church in Abbeville.  He was a loving husband and father.  He is survived by his wife, Cindy Whitehead; two sons, Tim Whitehead (Sherry), Rusty Whitehead (Jennifer); three daughters, Vickie Hoffman (David), Ashley Sheets (Kevin), Angie Senn (Jonathan); numerous brothers and sisters, as well as brothers and sisters-in-law;  several  nieces and nephews,  thirteen grandchildren, David Whitehead, Heather Whitehead, Tyler Whitehead, Braxton Whitehead, Ally Whitehead, Peyton Beasley, Logan Beasley, Joshua Walker, Randy Shutes, Hunter Sheets, Elly Sheets, Brody Sheets, Ansley Senn, two great grandchildren, Kiyah Whitehead and Abigail Whitehead.
Pallbearers will be Ricky Whitehead, Pat Phillips, Derrell Burkett, Wilburn Kirkland, Wayne Cost, Bill Harp, Bucky Walker and Allen Golden.  Honorary pallbearers will be Lakeside Christian Fellowship Church.
Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
