Emma Thomas Alexander

Emma Thomas Alexander, 86, passed away on Friday, June 27, 2025. Funeral services will be at 2:00pm on Sunday, June 29, 2025, at Green Hills Funeral Home with Minister John Dickinson officiating. Burial will follow the service at Green Hills Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 1:00pm.

One of 13 children, Emma was known for her love of others, especially her family. She grew up in Prattville and graduated from Autauga County High School in 1957. She enjoyed reading even up until recently. She and her late husband, Gary, had a family farm near Troy and would invite the family out to have tractor rides and eat dinner. Emma was an excellent cook who would always offer you a second helping or some yummy dessert! Emma was a longtime member of Antioch church of Christ. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Emma was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Alexander; parents, Cliff & Emma Thomas; and 10 siblings. She is survived by her brothers, Roger Thomas (Nancy), George Thomas (Rosemarie) as well as multiple nieces and nephews.
