Loving survivors include his parents, Christopher & Corrie Carroll; grandparents, Cliff & Sara Carroll, Ronald & Diane Carvin, Patty “Gigi” Lance; his girlfriend, Bailey Ennis “Bennis” and her parents, Melissa & Wes Ennis; aunts and uncles, Cassandra Thomas (Kevin), Erin Brown (Andrew), David Carvin; as well as some extended family and many teammates, classmates, and hunting buddies.  Carter was preceded in death by his grandmother, Jody Carroll.

If you were one of the lucky ones who crossed paths with Carter Carroll, you already know he was the most goal-oriented, hardest working comedian of all time.  You know that he never met a stranger and never tolerated a negative comment.  Carter Carroll never faced a batter while he was on the mound who would be allowed to hit the ball.  He never faced a pitcher while he was in the box who would be allowed to sneak a curve for a third strike. Carter Carroll had the most contagious laugh and the quirkiest smile.  Everyone was a friend, and everyone was accepted.  He was an old soul and a true trendsetter.  He lived his life his way and only his way and was lucky enough to have found the love of his life. A Renaissance man born one hundred years too late who has now gone on to the greatest thing - Heaven.

The staff of Green Hills Funeral Home of Troy is honored to serve the Carroll family.
