Brantley Johnston Crawley

Brantley “Brant” Johnston Crawley, of Montgomery, passed away on Thursday, May 22, 2025, at the age of 54. Visitation will be on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at Green Hills Funeral Home from 10:00-11:30 a.m. with a graveside service at 12:00 noon at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery, Hwy 231 South, Brundidge, Alabama with Rev. Chris Brown officiating.

Brant earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Alabama and a master’s degree from George Washington University in Washington D.C. He spent much of his career as a political consultant in Alabama. Brant loved books and enjoyed reading. He was kind and compassionate and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Judge John Brantley Crawley; his grandparents, Douglas & Wonnie Mae Bowden Crawley and Willie & Ruth Wilkes Johnston; aunt, Nancy Crawley Banks; and his uncles, William Douglas “Pete” Crawley and Lawrence “Larry” Bowden Crawley. Loving survivors include his devoted mother, Sherrie Johnston Crawley; three cousins, Jessica T Banks, Rafe Banks, Jaine Laney; great-uncle, Lawrence Bowden; and many extended family members and friends.
