Billy Ray Farris

Mr. Billy Ray Farris, age 54, of Troy passed away Monday, April 12, 2010 at Baptist South in Montgomery. Funeral services for Mr. Farris will be Friday, April 16, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. from the chapel of Green Hills Funeral Home with Pastor Reagan Farris officiating. Burial will follow at New Haven Cemetery with Green Hills Funeral Home directing.

Visitation will be held at Green Hills Funeral Home Thursday, April 15, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Mr. Farris was preceded in death by his parents Woodrow Wilson Farris and Catherine Holmes Farris.

He is survived by two sons Billy Ray Farris, Jr. and Trenton Eric Farris; three brothers George C. Farris, Roy C. Farris and Wilson Row Farris; three sisters Betty Jean Crews, Sandra Jean Sailors and Martha Ann Farris.

Mr. Farris worked for more than 20 years for the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers.
