Angeline Pinckard

Angeline Pinckard , age 67, died Saturday, January 29, 2011 at Jackson Hospital in Montgomery. Funeral services for Mrs. Pinckard will be Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Green Hills Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Green Hills Memorial Cemetery.

Visitation will be Wednesday, February 2, 2011 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.

Mrs. Pinckard was chairman of the President’s Committee for Employment of People with Disabilities from 1989 to 2000. She was co-founder of the Youth Leadership Forum in Troy. She received a Master’s Degree from Troy State University. She was a member of the Troy State University Marching Band, and actively involved in the community.

She is preceded in death by her father, Edwin M. Hollis; mother, Lorraine Kelly; one brother Edwin M. Hollis, Jr. She is survived by her husband William Donald Pinckard; daughters, Meri Kelly Claassen (Matthew) and Alexandra Leigh Pinckard; four grandchildren, Roland Claassen, Joshua Claassen, Theodore Claassen and Daniel Claassen.
