Alice Griffin

Alice Marie Miller Griffin, age 81 of Troy died Sunday, April 17, 2017 in Montgomery. Alice Marie was born August 2, 1935 in Orion, Alabama to the late Wendell Miller and Alice Miller. She loved to read and loved to talk to her friends on the phone.
A graveside service will be held Friday, April 21, 2017 from the Green Hills Cemetery at 11:00 AM with Reverend Wayne Locklar officiating. All friends should meet at the cemetery at 10:45 AM Friday morning.
Survivors include; her husband of 60 years, Charles "Douglas" Griffin, her children, Marie Griffin of Denver, CO., Sandra G. (Bob) Wood of Panama City Beach , Florida. Brother, Alex (Billie) Bowden, Sister, Sara (Jerry) Warren, sister in law, Irene Bowden, aunts, Ellen Roling and Helen Miller, numerous cousins and other family members. She was preceded in death in addition to her parents a brother, Buck Bowden. Honorary pallbearers will be the employees of The Pig Cafe.
In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to the American Heart Association, 7272 Greenville Avenue; Dallas, TX 75231-4596.
