Jesse "Doug" Douglas Bryant is now in the presence of the Lord after his brave battle with cancer. Doug died Tuesday, February 26, at his home surrounded by family. Doug graduated from McKell High School in South Shore, Kentucky. He was a longtime employee of Sanders Lead where he worked as a mechanic. In his free time Doug loved to fish, to draw and restoring cars. His greatest love was spending time with his grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Green Hills Funeral Home at 11:00 AM with Pastor Douglas H. Crosby officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Green Hills funeral home directing.
His survivors include: wife, Deborah Bryant, his children, John D. (Cynthia) Howard Jr., CO, Jeremy (Jeannette) McKenzie, TN, Matthew Howard, FL, Jeffrey Bryant, AL, Joleen Andre'a, TN, daughter in love, Melissa Howard, AL, his grandchildren, Laynee , Sammi Jo, Emily, Tatum, Kennedy, Meera, Christian, Jeff, David, Austin, Elijah, Zachary, Matthew, his brothers, Orville Bryant, Ted (Gloria) Bryant, Johnny (Irene) Bryant all of AL, Bill (Debbie) Bryant, Jerry (Sandy) Bryant , Jack (Brenda) Bryant all of KY, his sisters, Josephine Henson, Gertie Howell and Patty Utterback all of KY, and Mary Bryant, Al, his brother and sister in law, Jimmy and Cindy McCullers, FL, many nieces, nephews and other close family members.
Doug was preceded in death by; his parents Johnie and Cordelia Bryant, brother, James Bryant, sister, Joyce Bryant, father- in-law and mother-in-law, BJ and Roberta McCullers, and a brother-in-law, Tim McCullers.
In lieu of flowers memorials should be made to Grace Baptist Church, 1955 Parker Drive, Ozark, AL,36360.
The family would like to say a special thank you to Alacare Hospice nurses for the care and love that they gave to Doug and his family.
