Joseph Wright Burt, age 80, of Troy, Alabama, passed away Sunday, March 07, 2010, at Jackson Hospital in Montgomery, Alabama.

Funeral services for Mr. Burt will be held Wednesday, March 10, 2010, at 2 p.m., at the chapel of Green Hills Funeral Home with Pastors Bo Weed and Malone Chandler officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hills Cemetery with Green Hills Funeral Home directing.

Visitation will be held at Green Hills Funeral Home Tuesday, March 9, 2010, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.

Mr. Burt is survived by his daughter, Pamela Adena Helwagen of Ashville N.C.; grandchildren, Cara Foley and Katie Williams; and great grandchild Lukas Stanley.

Mr. Burt was a member of the Hardees Breakfast Club in Troy, Alabama.
