Lorraine Green a life long resident of Troy passed away, Thursday, February 4, 2010 at Jackson Hospital in Montgomery. Funeral services for Ms. Green will be Monday, February 8, 2010 at 2:00 p.m., at Green Hills Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Mallone Chandler officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hills Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation for Ms. Green will be Monday, February 8, 2010 from 12:00 until 2:00 p.m. at Green Hills Funeral Home.

Ms. Green is preceded in death by two infant sons from her marriage to Max McLendon, her parents Eddie Quitman Green and Lillian Daughtry Green. She is survived by one brother, James E. (Pam) Green of Valparaiso, FL; two sisters, Ann Newman (Virgul) Trucks of Calera, AL, Sue (Michael) Rachlin of Austin, TX and one uncle, Harwood Daughtry of Troy, AL, numerous nieces, nephews, great- nieces and nephews and cousins.

Ms. Green was a member of Riverview Baptist Church. She retired from the State of Alabama with the Alabama Department of Transportation.
