Annie Ruth Cooper, age 47, died Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at Baptist South in Montgomery. A memorial service for Ms.Cooper will be held Friday, July 30, 2010 at 12:00 p.m. from the chapel of Green Hills Funeral Home. The late Ms. Annie Ruth Cooper was born in Pike County on October 7, 1962 to the late Laura Mae and John Cooper. She joined Benevalent Grove at an early age and later joined Changing Heart Ministries under the leadership Prophet Jeremiah Toney.
 
She is preceded in death by two sisters. She leaves to cherish her memories one daughter, Kami (Rueben) Cooper Curry; two granddaughters Arayanna Cooper and Elise Curry; one grandson, Kendall Curry all of Troy; three sisters, Willie Lee Hodges, Cincinnati, Ohio; Ollie Mae Pickett, Fort Lauderdale, Fl and Annie Laura Cooper, Troy, AL; three brothers, Willie James Smiley, John Charles Cooper, Troy and Willie Junior Smiley; aunts and uncles, Robert (Helen) Cooper, Willie Mae (Jimmie) Toney, Emma Walker, Annie Ruth Toney, Lillie M. Batie, Eloise (James) Boyd, Leola Siler and Lelia Bell Streeter; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family wishes to express their deep gratitude and appreciation for all expressions of kindness shown during their hours of bereavement. Family and friends can sign the guestbook and order flowers from the website at www.greenhillsfuneralhome.net. Green Hills Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Miss Annie Ruth Cooper.
